AU PC#2 Food

This is an easy quiche recipe which uses one cup ingredients and all mixed together in the one bowl. A great recipe to eat either hot or cold. You can add what ever ingredients you have on hand. Ideal for using those left overs you might have lurking in the fridge.

ONE CUP QUICHE

1 cup grated cheese
1 cup diced bacon
1 cup milk
1 cup self-raising flour
1 small onion, finely diced
5 eggs
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tomato, finely sliced

Combine the cheese, bacon, milk, flour, onion and eggs in a large bowl.

Mix all ingredients together until well combined, then season with salt and pepper.

Place a 24cm ovenproof flan/quiche dish on an oven tray. Pour mixture into dish and decorate top with tomato slices.

Bake at 180C for about 50 minutes, or until top in golden and mixture is set in centre.

Cut quiche into wedges and serve with salad of your choice.

Oh, thank you for the recipe! I had been thinking about making my first quiche and bought a pie crust to put it in, because I thought the recipe would call for one. Can I make it with a pie crust?
